Biography

Richard Carter is an academic researcher and digital artist based in York. His current research is on developing critical models of nonhuman agency as it manifests within digital art and literature, considering what this reveals concerning contemporary practices of knowledge production and expression. Richard is continually engaged in creating digital art objects that represent an extension of his academic practice – crafting varying assemblages of energies and materials that articulate different modes of critical enquiry and reflection.
